Research Progress of Treatment for Bladder Dysfunction in Parkinson's Disease

Abstract

Bladder dysfunction is a common symptom of autonomic dysfunction in Parkinson's disease, mainly manifested as overactive bladder, which has a great negative impact on the quality of life of patients. At present, the treatment of Parkinson's disease-related bladder dysfunction mainly includes behavioral therapy, drug therapy, neuromodulation therapy, surgical therapy, and traditional Chinese medicine therapy. This article reviews the latest progress in the treatment of Parkinson's disease-related bladder dysfunction.
