Abstract
Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) is a rehabilitation treatment technique that uses proprioceptive stimuli such as muscle stretching, joint compression and traction, and resistance to promote neuromuscular contraction and improve abnormal movement patterns. With the rapid development of rehabilitation medicine in China, PNF has received increasing attention in clinical rehabilitation, but its application and development
still have certain limitations. This article reviews the recent applications of PNF technology in clinical rehabilitation, analyzes the shortcomings of previous studies, considers how to address existing deficiencies, and combines
it with traditional medicine to summarize scientific and effective practical methods, with a view to better applying
PNF technology to clinical rehabilitation.
