Abstract
Mild cognitive impairment (MCI) patients are at high risk of developing dementia, and both MCI and
dementia significantly impact their lives. Therefore, early diagnosis and intervention for MCI are crucial. Connectomics is an important branch of medical imaging that views the brain as a complex network system. Changes in
brain connectivity networks are the structural and functional basis of cognitive changes. By analyzing brain connectivity networks in MCI patients, characteristic parameters of brain connectivity networks can be obtained, which
can help identify early diagnostic biomarkers for MCI, predict the degree of disease progression, and evaluate intervention effectiveness. This review focuses on the latest research progress in connectomics in MCI, hoping to provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment of MCI and related research.
